Our archive search allows for powerful implied boolean logic. Using plus signs, minus signs and quotation marks in conjunction with words and phrases forces the inclusion or exclusion in the search statement.

• Looking for: school board meetings (where all words are required)
  Search: +school +board +meetings
• Looking for: meetings, but not school board meetings.
  Search: +meetings -school
• Looking for: a forced and ordered phrase such as "town hall"
  Search: "town hall"
• Lastly, to facilitate more efficient searching, our search function excludes (or ignores) common words such as "a", "and", "by", as well as words less than four characters in length.
